Frequently
asked questions

Our Liverpool display is accessible to all visitors, but due to being a grade 2 listed building, the main entrance to the White Star Line hotel only has access via steps. There is an accessible entrance further down the street on the corner of James Street and the Strand. This has an accessible lift which will take you down to the basement level and there you have access to the main lifts.

We recommend you contact the hotel when you arrive and a member of staff will come out and help you.

A small bar and cafe will be open on the top floor of the White Star Line Hotel while the exhibition is running.

As this is a smaller display rather than one of our full exhibitions, we’re not able to offer free carer tickets for this particular event.

We do absolutely offer carer tickets at our full touring exhibitions, but this mini-display operates on a different structure with much tighter capacity and lower entry costs.

We still want everyone to feel welcome though, so if there is anything else we can do to make your visit easier, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.

No food or drink is allowed into the exhibition.
